WELCOME TO KINGDOM INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

General Information

Welcome to Kingdom International School!

Our goal is to adequately meet the needs of every student who attends KIS. We invite each new family to meet with Abraham Keum/founder, Head of School, for an education-success consultation. We request that both parents be present for this meeting. During your consultation, we will discuss your student’s academic strengths and challenges, likes and dislikes and prior school experience, if applicable. We believe that meeting with each family personally will result in the best possible experience for your child.

Admissions Procedures

Each new family will hold an educational consultation with the Head of School. We request the presence of both parents, if possible.  Our goal during this meeting is to determine if KIS is the best placement for your student.  Once accepted, we want KIS to be your child’s school until their full course is complete. Submit online application with the information on day/time that you want for your the consultation. Here, you can submit all documentation, apply for financial aid, and set up tuition payments.

Admissions testing is required before acceptance.

Grade placement of new students rests with the administration.  Admissions decisions will be based on the applicant’s meeting admission standards.  Acceptance of applicants will be communicated by written notice to the parents as soon as grade placement and admission is determined.

Admissions Testing

If you would like to enroll your child, please call the school office to schedule an entrance exam. The exam will determine your child’s current grade level in reading and math. Students entering grades 7-9 will produce a short essay to demonstrate their writing ability.

Purpose of the admissions testing program:

To inform the teacher of the child’s educational requirements.

To assure placement in the grade for which the student is qualified.

To enable the school to maintain high standards.

To avoid the enrollment of students having special needs which the school is unable to adequately address.

Acceptance of applicant will be by written notice to the parents as soon as the Administrator has reviewed the application.

Please note:

KIS allow year around admission with flexible learning environments.

The most recent report card showing grade placement, grades, and conduct is required before acceptance.

Applications cannot be processed until the school receives the completed enrollment application form, together with the full registration fee. You can make a payment under payment/donation section.

Registration fee($100) is non-refundable. Write down student's name in the notes.

Small class size, individualized attention and differentiated instruction are usually adequate to meet the needs of our students; however, occasionally a student requires more assistance.

Non-Discriminatory Policy

KIS admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally made available to students at the school.

TLC Policy: Tuition is the Last Consideration

Our policy is to first find out if we can be of value to your family. You may schedule an education-success consultation to see if we can be of service to you and your child. If so, then we will discuss tuition and our generous tuition-assistance policy. Please call us to set up your free consultation today!
