 KIS Mission Statement

Kingdom International School is dedicated to the Christian nature of education through KIS’ Missions, Visions, and Values. KIS’ Mission is focused on Discipleshipㅡas the Christin nature of human existence and the Christian principles of Human-Social Rightsㅡ, Gentium(One New Man)-Ministryㅡas the Christian nature and Spiritual, Emotional, and Educational Engagementㅡ, and Specializationㅡas a Christian way of Empowermentㅡ, each of which is substantiated into Ownership, Multi- Ethnicism, and Professionalism in the academic sense, and into Spiritual Unity, Globalization, and Empowerment in the affective sense respectively. All these ideas of KIS mission are elucidated by the process of teaching and learning stated in the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and the Texas Education Agency (TEA). 

KIS Vision Statement

KIS defines Vision as being opened to the Truth by the Grace of the LORD. To help each of our studentsㅡHis disciplesㅡserve the world, KIS has some blended sorts of Visions of the Truth, the Way, and the Life, each of which is secularized in the Epistemological, Methodological, and Ontological senses: as Human Knowledge of not merely all creations and creatures in the universe but also the dynamic relationships among them, as the Ways of Existence thereof in the temporal and spatial contexts, and as the Essence of Educationㅡas Knowing and Loving of the Worth of the combined Human, Social, and Scientific knowledge with the Truth.  KIS’ visions, enlightened by the Truth, instructed by the Way, and embodied by Love, are the process of schooling that allows each student to realize human dignity as Jesus Christ’s disciple, who obeys all that He commanded, while demonstrating its efforts and practices for giving all the students equal opportunities through virtual learning as well as in the onsite school system. 

KIS Value Statement

KIS takes its foremost priority on the Unity and Collaboration, entailed in the daily relationship between Him and us by the principle of ‘the Vine and the Branches, whereby KIS’ students can lead Thankful, Joyful, and Prayerful lives according to the Will of God in Christ Jesus. The values are converged into the Christian role of the light and the salt, enlightened by our Unity with Jesus Christ, leading to the Public Good and Power with Human Dignity, implying that we can be good and strong not for our efforts but by the presence of Jesus Christ in the educational context. This empowerment helps KIS students strengthen their knowledge and skills by our Faith in God, culminating in Loving one another.  

KIS Leadership Statement

KIS leadership, based on the Unity in Jesus Christ and the Diversity in the relationships and roles among all KIS members, is elucidated and embodied in their lives which take the Christian nature of a Servant, to obey all Jesus Christ has commanded and praise the Glory of His Grace.  KIS’ Ideas of Leadership are educationally secularized into a democratic person, who makes utmost efforts to be free and to treat all persons equally and fairly with dignity.

KIS Excellence

KIS seeks Excellence through Educative Love. To help KIS’ students spontaneously learn to teach themselves what is taught, all the stakeholders of KIS actively engage and participate in the students’ contemplating and meditating the human life and human societyㅡin the process of the Great Commandmentㅡon the basis of the considerations for others. All KIS students' Excellence in learning and all KIS stakeholders’ Engagement in supporting their learning are fulfilled by Our Knowledge of Jesus’ Love on the Cross and Our Love of Our Neighbors, which should be accomplished through Self-Education and Collaboration
